  I have been coming here since 2003 and was seeing Dr. Daniel Brake. He is by far one of the best doctors I have ever had. He is caring, takes time to talk to you, doesn't worry about the time. He knows my history of sexual abuse I endured at a young age, my anxiety & depression. He was so easy to talk to and I felt very comfortable talking to him about anything & everything. Well a few years a go I got the worst news that Dr. Brake was leaving the practice but staying with St. Francis. Worst news possible when you really had a good relationship with him. My husband saw him as well. A Nurse Practioner Aisha Nutt took his place. From the time I met her she had belittled me, talked down to me and really showed NO compassion whatsoever. I tried to hang in there as I had been there since 2003. It was June of this year (2017) is what really took the cake. I had to go in just so she could order me my MRI. After being lectured for 10 minutes on being 2 minutes late, she asks me what I needed. She already new my appointment was for a referral for an MRI. I told her what I needed as her reply was " Well Carly why didnt you go see your back doctor". WOW, I said "Because this is my family physician and you are the one who needs to order it for me". My MRI was denied because she did not send over accurate medical records, she didn't even mention I had a back surgery in the past, nothing. She actually put on the order that when "she" assessed my back with her hands, she saw nothing wrong. I was floored and did all I could do to not lose it on this lady. She talks to you like you are in pre-school, she belittles everyone so she feels superior and she will let you know that she will never practice like Dr. Brake. Well then I think she should look up to her superior doctors and learn from them not say such negative comments about them. After my MRI was denied I called and spoke with the office manager Kendra who was at first thinking I was just upset over the MRI being denied. No, I went through all scenarios going back to the beginning of 2017. I was crying on the phone and told her I am firing NP Nutt. I will never stand for someone talking to me like a child, belittling me or telling me I should have done this or should have done that. Reedy was my Family Physician and that is you "go to" doctor for anything. I didnt feel that waram & fuzzy feeling at all since Dr. Brake left. I've been through a lot and I want a doctor that is going to listen, actively listen and most of all have compassion. I didn't get any of that with this NP Nutt. She reminds me of a pre-school teacher and she talks to you like one. I'm way older than she is and I expect a lot from my doctors. It's my health, my life, my money and my insurance. You are there to listen, help, give professional advice and give me the best treatment possible. If you are going to go to Reedy Family, see an actual doctor. There are very good doctors there like Dr. Fusion. I could have just changed to another doctor but she broke all trust I had in this practice. She crossed the line and that is unexceptable. Do your homework before getting a doctor or in my case it was a NP that took my doctors place and I should have researched further in her background etc. I am taking back my own health, no more just write me a prescription & send me on my way. It's my health, my time, my life. I think you all should have the same attitude.
