- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Article in Greenville News very informative by Dr. Stephen Yarborough. I was on PPI 'from 2012 until 2015. Very concerned about long term effects. Now have bile & gall bladder sludge. Advised not to remove gallbladder because I have No Stones just sludge and it may make bile worse, It can't be a good thing to have a diseased organ (gallbladder). Now careful about certain foods because it affects my gallbladder & afterwards I don't feel good. I'm not a big person 125 lbs. so I feel effectsAugust 04, 2017by Mary Ann Linning
